Our Self-Confessed King of Debt Picks Soros Kingpin to be US Treasurer

If you really wanted to make certain the next four years serve the one-percenters in this country, you’d make the same choice Donald Trump just did to replace Janet Yellen. Trump’s nominee, Scott Bessent, has spent the majority of his professional career serving/working with, progressive Democrat megadoner, and globalist overlord George Soros—a man intent upon using his vast wealth to change the course of the world to flow into his pocketbook by sowing chaos everywhere because he makes his best money when the establishment falls apart. Bessent was a partner with Soros at Soros Fund Management.

As Treasury Secretary, he will hold such a high cabinet position that he will be fifth in line for the presidency if something incapacitates Trump. Bessent will be in charge of US economic relations with the rest of the world. It was former Fedhead Janet Yellen, for example, who imposed economic sanctions on Putin. It was Yellen who met with Xi on Biden’s behalf. It is Yellen who meets with the Fed and with all of the other biggest global bankers on the planet.

Into this realm, Trump will ensconce a globalist through and through.

Soros to the core

Here is a brief summary of Bessent’s career to be published in our Monday headlines below by Forbes:

Bessent worked for Soros from 1991 to 2000, rising to the firm’s head of European allocation by his departure, and returned to Soros from 2011 to 2015 as the fund’s chief investment officer, departing again to run Key Square with a $2 billion investment from the 94-year-old Soros

That is a total of 15 years working directly for/with Soros prior to beginning his current role as founder and CEO of the hedge fund Key Square Management, which he also began with a $2-billion investment from Soros, which was about half of the starting investment for Key Square, meaning Bessent serves Soros as the major investor in the firm. Key Square recently had just under $600 million in assets under management (as of 2023), far less than Soros’ original investment.

Not only is he a Soros man to the core …

Bessent made a name for himself at Soros by reportedly playing a key role in the firm’s bets against the British pound in the early 1990s and the Japanese yen in the early 2010s.

He helped Soros make his original vast fortune by helping break the establishment in favor of Soros. Now, breaking the establishment sounds like a good thing, except Soros & Co. like to break it and just leave it in pieces. It’s not that they have anything better to replace it with or care about replacing it at all. They just feed on the carrion they help turn the establishment into when they slaughter it.

Bessent played a big role in making Soros the rich man that he is. So, if you love George Soros, this is your guy. With a man like Soros, to be close to his wrinkled walnut of a heart, you have to be close to his greasy pocketbook, and few if any are closer than Bessent.

“He seems to get along with George Soros and Donald Trump. What else do you need to know?” said billionaire Stanley Druckenmiller, who has known Bessent since the early 1990s and worked with him closely at Soros’s investment firm.

This is that guy, and he will bring Soros to the Treasury, if Trump’s nomination succeeds (and it’s hard to see how it cannot since Soros is THE major backer of a horde (or herd) of Democrats, whom Soros can readily tap to fall in line with Republicans if he needs them). For Soros, Treasurer Besset’s name on every green paper bill out of the Treasury would be a coup because he’ll have one of his most successful protégés leading the US Treasury, which means co-leading the global financial system with the Fed. You might as well make George Soros, himself, the head of the US Treasury.

Cultural liberation

And Bessent is certainly a cultural liberal who would fit perfectly in Biden’s colorful cabinet as well:

Bessent, who lives primarily in Charleston, S.C., with his husband John Freeman and their two children, according to the Wall Street Journal, could be the first Senate-approved LGBTQ+ member in a Republican cabinet (Richard Grenell became the first openly gay acting cabinet member when Trump tapped him as the acting director of national intelligence in 2020).

“In a certain geographic region at a certain economic level, being gay is not an issue,” Bessent told Yale Alumni Magazine in 2015. “If you had told me in 1984, when we graduated, and people were dying of AIDS, that 30 years later I’d be legally married and we would have two children via surrogacy, I wouldn’t have believed you.”

He can thank Democratic governments like Obama and Biden for that. His Progressive credentials appear to be well groomed.

Deep state deep pockets

Soros needs a man like this deep inside the government to protect his interests from the renegade Trump.

The Treasury Secretary and Fed chairman are the two most important economic policy roles in the U.S., and Trump has often jabbed at Powell, who was a Trump appointee during his first term.

So, in this first deeper look at Trump appointees, we have to score one very huge point for the Soros horde of swamp creatures because, if George Soros is not the Creature from the Black Lagoon in charge of running the swamp, it would be hard to figure out who is, and this man’s resume is Soros, Soros and currently Soros. If that’s what you think a free and constitutional America needs and what you think the little guy needs, Trump is helping you out, just as he assured you he would.

Still, let’s wait and see how it really turns out because a man like Soros surely has earned the benefit of the doubt. (I mean, that will be the go-to response of die-hard Trump supporters—that we shouldn’t judge Trump’s top-level cabinet positions by their years of association with the prince of the darkness.)

Oh, and by the way, he is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and is such a good friend of King Charles III and Queen Camilla that he visits Buckingham Palace frequently, and Queen Camilla has stayed at his estate in the US.
