All eyes on the CPI. The market and the dollar will react in a big way to the CPI increase, and the question is: what does it do to the Fed's thinking for next week? It's retail sales on Friday that's also super important.
When you look at the gold market, the CPI and what the dollar is going to do are going to be major events. Don't treat these as minor.
When gold closes above 1939.50, it will give bulls the green light. But it hasn't, and it's slipping back.
