Case in point, a colleage of Axel's recently observed their electronic products double in price, during transit, emblematic of runaway prices. US housing is another key example, where builders and homeowners continue to benefit from low Fed rates.
Merk Investments remains chiefly invested in precious metals mining shares - Axel notes "... we're quite early in the (shares) cycle there..." Key point: the traditional 60/40 stocks to bonds ratio may no longer be adequate to protect investment portfolios, precious metals are an essential safe haven investment.
