GoldSeek Radio Nugget - Harry S. Dent Jr: Warning About The Crash of Our Lifetime

Harry S. Dent Jr., "The Dean of Demographics," founder of harrydent.com joins the show from Puerto Rico, says financial bubbles always crash, "The Everything Bubble" remains one of the longest in history.

(Please note that the show host recommends holding a widely diversified investment portfolio, ignoring the temporary market gyrations, focusing on long-term success).

- The financial bubble may have peaked - the next wave down could start next summer.
- Will the US stock market retest the 2009 lows in 2024?

Dent Jr. says:

"We're gonna go back to that, what I'd call Fourth Wave low back in March of 2000. And that is that takes us back, a long way down. That's an 86 crash. So it shows how strong the bubble was after the 2009 low. And [the] only other thing, I'll say, just my little summary here: The first bubble, into [the year] 2000. First time about, that was a natural bubble just like the Roaring 20s, but just really good economy. Falling inflation. Oh, you know everything wonderful.

Well, this second one was a 100% stimulus. We went down, we're in a more difficult demographic trend. So the fundamentals aren't good and this entire rally has just been 5.2 trillion dollars, well, actually 8 but 5 trillion just in the 2 years after COVID-19. And that's what we're dealing with here and that's funny money. And I think this is going to go very quickly down when it when it starts to lose momentum.

Dent Jr. continues:

And so I'm just warning people. If I'm wrong, you may just be out of the market for several months before this is proven. But if I'm right, this will be what I've been predicting for a good while: The crash of our lifetime."

- Is government stimulus responsible for much of the financial bubble?
- Has every sector entered a bubble?
- Harry recommends the work of financial analyst, John Hussman
- Housing Starts look great, soaring from recent lows:

- Gold could hold firm amid the next prices, relative to other assets.
